Job summary

NuAxis Innovations in Washington, DC seeks a Data & Web Content Analyst to bridge content operations and data engineering for migration from legacy platforms to a modern CMS. You will map content, define metadata, and ensure data quality during migration to Drupal 10+ and MySQL on cloud services.

The role requires 5+ years in content or data migration, strong SQL, CMS experience, and a solid grasp of taxonomy and data privacy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a content analyst, data analyst, or data migration role.
• Strong SQL against relational databases with complex joins and data quality queries.
• CMS content migration experience (Drupal migrate framework, ETL in Python/PHP).
• Knowledge of taxonomy design, metadata standards, and structured content modeling.
• Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation at scale.
• Comfort with JSON/XML/CSV interchange formats and API-delivered data.
• Section 508 accessibility awareness for structured content and data presentation.
• Experience validating migrations involving DB2 and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Privacy, records retention, and PII protection in test/migration data.

Responsibilities

• Perform content inventory and audit across legacy applications and sites; produce migration maps.
• Write and tune SQL to extract, profile, cleanse, de-duplicate, and reconcile data.
• Build and execute repeatable migration scripts and validation harnesses; document results.
• Define information architecture, metadata schemas, and controlled vocabularies.
• Analyze site analytics, search logs, and user feedback to improve content and IA.
• Generate test data sets for development and QA while protecting PII.
• Produce data quality dashboards and recurring stakeholder reports.
• Partner with developers and testers to validate post-migration content fidelity and SEO.
• Support migration from legacy DB2/.NET data to Drupal 10+ and MySQL on DOL PACE.
• Define and validate interface mappings for Appian-based systems, Kafka, APIs, and analytics.
• Maintain data dictionaries, mapping specs, and data-quality artifacts in repositories.
