Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and optimize data warehousing solutions that support analytics and business intelligence. You will develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows, ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across systems.

Qualifications

3 years experience in data engineering or warehousing.
Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools.
Understanding of star and snowflake schemas for analytics.
Exposure to cloud platforms and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows.
Build and optimize data models for reporting and analytics.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across systems.
Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to deliver data solutions.
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability using cloud-native tools.
Help implement scripts and automation for routine tasks.
Assist with basic troubleshooting of cloud-hosted applications and services.
Monitor data pipelines and scheduled jobs for failures or performance issues.
