Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI), headquartered in Louisville, KY, seeks a Data Warehouse Developer to design, implement, and maintain our data warehouse and reporting systems to empower self-serve analytics for users. You will work in a collaborative Scrum environment, building ETL processes and semantic models with MicroStrategy/SSAS and SQL Server.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 2+ years’ experience as a data engineer or data developer, with a focus on scalable, high-volume data

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer information technology, computer science, business analytics, data analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a data engineer or data developer.
• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale data warehouse and data store architectures across business domains.
• Architect ETL pipelines with SSIS, BIML, replication and CDC for high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the data warehouse and reporting systems to enable pre-designed reports and self-serve analysis.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and data models.
• Collaborate in an agile/Scrum environment to deliver scalable data solutions.
