Job summary

Kforce is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Analyst / Power BI Developer for our client in Tallahassee, FL. You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, Snowflake, and SQL to build scalable semantic models, dashboards, and reporting assets that drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of BI experience, strong SQL/DAX skills, and a proven ability to translate complex requirements into performant reports, with emphasis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with business intelligence tools, analytics platforms, or data warehousing solutions.
• 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience developing enterprise reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong experience with Power BI dashboards, semantic models, paginated reports, DAX, and report performance optimization.
• Advanced SQL development skills, including CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and analytical reporting.
• Experience designing and supporting dimensional models, star schemas, fact tables, and dimension tables
• Experience integrating and reporting from Snowflake data platforms
• Experience with metadata management, data lineage documentation, and reporting governance practices
• Experience embedding reports into business applications is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, deployment automation, and version control practices is preferred

Kforce has a client in Tallahassee, FL that is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Analyst / Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. This individual will leverage Power BI, Snowflake, and advanced SQL to build scalable semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that drive business decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of experience working with business intelligence tools, analytics platforms, or data warehousing solutions
• 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience developing enterprise reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI
• Strong experience with Power BI dashboards, semantic models, paginated reports, DAX, and report performance optimization

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
