Job summary

DevTech Systems, Inc. seeks a Data Analyst and Visualization Specialist to join the FAO Data and AI team in Washington, D.C. as an institutional contractor. You will organize, analyze, visualize, and present data to inform policy decisions, using Tableau, PowerBI, Python or R, and automation tools to boost efficiency.

The role emphasizes data quality, collaboration with clients, and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, economics, statistics, information systems, or related field.
• Experience with exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis and dashboarding.
• Strong experience with Tableau or PowerBI.
• Solid knowledge of Python or R.
• Experience with automation and AI tools to increase efficiency.
• Familiarity with data engineering, pipelines, ETL/ELT, SQL and cloud tools.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, Databricks) preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Explore and analyze complex datasets to identify patterns and trends.
• Query databases and ensure data quality across multiple sources.
• Visualize data using Tableau, PowerBI, and other tools for clear client presentations.
• Use automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Provide actionable insights for policy, resource allocation, and program design.
• Support predictive analytics or light machine-learning workflows when appropriate.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with clients to translate needs into analytical solutions.
