The Data Visualization Designer Senior will support the design and implementation of process automation solutions using data visualization tools and/or other emerging automation technologies. Builds user interfaces, visualizations, and data algorithms. Takes complex data and makes it more accessible, understandable, and usable for leaders to derive insights and enable them to make the best business decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, five (5) years of relevant experience will be considered.
Minimum five (5) years of experience or applicable Master’s in a related field with a minimum of three (3) years' experience.
Minimum five (5) years' experience in data visualization using Tableau.
Minimum three (3) years working with ODBC and/or DB2 connections.
Experience with at least one relational database technology such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL.
Coding proficiency in SAS and SQL languages.
Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively explain complex information and document according to standards.
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams when necessary.
Applies mathematical and statistical concepts to analyze diverse datasets, communicates with data science teams, understands business needs, and creates data solutions. Develops visual content from large datasets, designs dashboards and reports using Tableau, explores and presents data, identifies trends, visualizes and implements workflows, and guides team members. Promotes data-driven culture and trains partners on visualization techniques. Collaborates with data scientists to build core software platforms.
This position is classified as level three (3). It requires ensuring the security and confidentiality of records to prevent harm or unfairness, maintaining information integrity as per company policies.
This role must adhere to segregation of duties guidelines to prevent errors and irregularities, as outlined in the Administrative Manual.
