Job summary

Xebia is seeking a senior delivery leader to drive data platform initiatives across complex engagements involving business and technology alignment, governance, and data quality. You will own engagements from kickoff to handover, manage sponsors and senior stakeholders, and translate technical findings into strategic decisions for clients.

Required are 10+ years in IT/data delivery, strong stakeholder management, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT, data, platform or digital transformation delivery.
• At least 5 years in senior delivery, programme leadership or engagement leadership related to data transformation.
• Credible experience with data platform, data governance or data transformation initiatives.
• Able to discuss operating model, data stewardship, data quality, lineage and platform adoption.
• Strong executive stakeholder management with senior sponsors and data/tech leaders.
• Proven ability to challenge business stakeholders constructively when readiness or data quality is weak.
• Experience with structured delivery governance: risk and decision logs, escalation paths, client checkpoints.
• Fluent, high-impact English; Portuguese/French/Spanish is a regional advantage.

• Acting as the main interface for business sponsors, data stakeholders, and central programs.
• Coordinating Data Architect, Platform Engineer, DQ/Analytics and knowledge management roles.
• Translating technical findings into business-readable decisions for leadership.
• Owning risks, issues, decision logs and escalation flow; escalate early for blockers.
• Escalating when local issues may affect readiness, delivery quality or handover.

You will be:

Your profile:

• 10+ years of experience in IT, data,platformor digital transformation delivery ,

• at least 5 years in senior delivery,programmeleadership, engagement leadership, data practiceleadershipor pre-sales roles related to data transformation,

• credible experience specifically with data platform, datagovernanceor data transformation initiatives -e.g.data quality remediation, master data / canonical model definition, data stewardship operating models, or migration/adoption of a modern data platform. Generic cloud infrastructure or applicationmodernisationprogrammesdo not count on their own, even when paired with governance or roadmap responsibilities,

• able to discuss operating model, data stewardship, data quality, source ownership, lineage,integrationand platform adoption at a practical delivery level,

• strong executive stakeholder management; comfortable working with senior business sponsors, centralprogrammeteamsand senior data / technology leaders,

• proven ability to challenge business stakeholders constructively when readiness, ownership,scopeor data quality is weak,

• experience with structured delivery governance: steering meetings, risk logs, decision logs, escalationpathsand formal client checkpoints,

• strong communicator who can explain data-related risks in business language and guide stakeholders toward a decision,

• comfortable managing ambiguity, pressure, conflictingprioritiesand multiple concurrent engagements,

• fluent, high-impact English isrequired. Portuguese,Frenchor Spanish is an advantage depending on region.

• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
