Apple Inc. in Seattle, Washington, is seeking a Software Tools and Automation Engineer within the Apple Services Engineering (ASE) team.

You'll work on data quality, testing automation for near real-time and batch data pipelines that power App Store, Apple Music, Podcasts, and other services. You will develop automated tests, document test plans, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and QA to ensure data integrity across ASE products.

Qualifications

• BS/BA/MS/MA/PhD in STEM fields.
• 5+ years of Big Data technologies (HDFS, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Voldemort, Cassandra, Druid).
• 5+ years in Python, Java and/or Scala coding.
• 5+ years experience with Big Data query tools (Hive, HDFS, Azkaban, SparkSQL, HiveQL, CQL).
• 5+ years experience with near real-time (NRT) and batch data pipelines and black box testing.
• 5+ years experience in data migrations, Data Warehousing, BI.

Responsabilités

• Develop automated testing tools for NRT and batch data pipelines.
• Document test plans and automation scripts, collaborate across teams.
• Perform data profiling, schema and data flow analysis with SparkSQL/HiveQL.
• Lead junior team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
