Manatal is seeking experienced Data Technicians to support structured cabling and data infrastructure projects. Technicians will work night shifts on 7:00 PM–6:00 AM and travel to project sites as needed.

Openings are 24 with 3 teams of 8, contracting for 2–3 months per assignment. Hands-on experience with Cat5/Cat6 terminations, cabling installs, testing cables, and safe, reliable attendance are required.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience with structured cabling/data center installations.
• Cat5/Cat6 terminations and punch-downs.
• Experience testing and toning cables.
• Ability to install cabinets, switches, and access points.
• Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM–6 AM) and travel through year end.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structured cabling installations and related data infrastructure work.
• Terminate and perform punch-downs for Cat5/Cat6 cabling.
• Test and troubleshoot network cables.
• Tone and identify cables.
• Hang and install network cabinets.
• Install network switches.
• Install wireless access points.
• Perform fiber-related work as needed.
• Perform fusion splicing when required.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and site personnel.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Data Technician – Structured Cabling

Location: Lowell, AR, with travel to project sites
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 2–3 months at a time
Start Dates: October 26, November 2, or November 9
Shift: Night Shift — 7:00 PM–6:00 AM
Pay Rate: $25–$32/hour
Openings: 24 Data Technicians
Schedule: 3 teams of 8 technicians
Per Diem: Not available

Job Summary

Preferred Qualifications

• Fiber optic cabling experience.
• Fusion splicing experience.
• Previous data center or large‑scale structured cabling project experience.

PPE & Requirements

Candidates must provide their own:

• Class E-rated hardhat
• Safety-toe boots
• Safety glasses
• Hi-Vis vest/shirt

A company truck will be provided. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Important:

Attendance is a high priority. Excessive or unnecessary absences may result in replacement. Candidates must be willing to travel and work on projects for 2–3 months at a time.
