Job summary

Turning Point for God is seeking a Data Systems Specialist to support data processing, reporting, and automation. You will manage orders/donor data, develop SSIS and SQL Server processes, and build Power BI reports to support data-driven decisions.

The role collaborates with multiple departments and sits at Turning Point’s Lakeside, CA headquarters. A data processing background and strong Power BI/SQL skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in data processing or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Proficiency in SSIS package development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Power BI Report development, semantic models, dataset optimization, and BI reporting.
• Must be able to follow complex Boolean logic sequences and know resident data for self-checking extracts.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, validate, and process orders from web, mail, and external call centers into Studio Enterprise.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for loading, validating, and transforming raw files.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server processes used in imports automation (stored procedures, views, validation).
• Support automated processing of external call center data (attribution, discounts, classification, offer rules).
• Process Bi-monthly Autopay.
• Support daily import operations (Cancellations, exceptions, ETL reconciliation).
• Keep all documentation up to date.
• Create and validate paginated reports, ad-hoc extracts and report files for internal departments.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, semantic models, and BI outputs.
• Execute and validate month-end scripts and reports.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Finance/Accounting, and Media to gather requirements.
