MetLife is seeking a Data Systems Associate within Public Fixed Income to drive data integrity, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency across investment management platforms. You will partner with investment teams to transform data into insights and enable data-driven decisions.

The role focuses on automation, advanced technology solutions, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance operations or investment data environments.
• Proven experience leading technology implementations and managing projects from requirements through delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration across organizational levels.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Self-motivated with track record of driving projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance investment operations, reporting, and data accessibility.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data models delivering actionable insights.
• Manage data quality, processing, and issue resolution within portfolio management systems.
• Perform portfolio analysis, cash flow forecasting, peer benchmarking, and financial modeling.
• Provide timely support for internal and external reporting, analytics, and requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts on reporting and data best practices.
