Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needs
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • 1+ years of experience working with health data
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL
  • 1+ years of experience with MS SQL server, Oracle or other SQL RDMS as well as reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, Crystal Reports, etc.
  • 1+ year of data analytics experience using relational databases


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
  • Experience with version control solutions
  • Experience with Epic EMR system
  • Experience using Collibra or similar Data Governance platform
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation within a centralized code repository
  • Clarity Certification
  • Ability to work in agile team structure
  • 2+ years of healthcare research data analytics
  • 2+ years of healthcare analytics experience
  • 2+ years of experience with SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, and Tableau
