Job summary

ProMach seeks a Data Steward to ensure quality, consistency, and governance of enterprise data assets. The role defines data standards, validates data accuracy, maintains business metadata, and supports data governance initiatives.

You will collaborate with business process owners, data engineers, analysts, and application teams to keep data reliable and well-documented, aligning with business requirements and enabling accurate reporting across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business systems, master data management, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with business data and reporting processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Dynamics, SyteLine, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and frameworks.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.
• Experience documenting business processes and data definitions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing data quality assessments to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and missing information.
• Validate data across reports, dashboards, databases, and source systems.
• Monitor data quality metrics and recommend corrective actions.
• Reconcile data between ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and other enterprise systems.
• Assist in executing periodic data audits and validation exercises.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to support the development, documentation, and enforcement of enterprise data governance policies.
