Job summary

Early Warning seeks a Data Steward Lead to ensure high-quality, well-defined business data aligned with governance standards. You will bridge business operations and the Data Governance function, enabling metadata, lineage, and data quality practices across the firm.

The role partners with DG and Engineering to implement automated data quality monitoring, participate in Data Domain Councils, and drive continuous governance improvements in a regulated environment. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data-related field.
• 8+ years experience in data management within financial services or regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance enterprise metadata in the data catalog including glossary, data dictionaries, and lineage.
• Develop and maintain business rules for data quality and monitor metrics.
• Collaborate with Data Governance, DG team, and engineers to implement governance standards and improvements.
• Support regulatory, audit, and control reviews related to metadata accuracy and data quality.
