Job summary

United Bank in Morgantown, WV is seeking a seasoned professional for auditing, compliance and banking examiner related work. This role emphasizes regulatory controls, data management, and quality assurance across a broad set of banking activities.

The candidate should have 5+ years in auditing/compliance or banking examiner roles, a high school diploma, and a preferred bachelor’s degree in business/finance/information systems. MS Office proficiency and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in a professional Auditing, Compliance and/or Credit discipline or in a Banking Examiner role required
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree in business management finance, information systems, or related area highly desired
• Strong knowledge and application of industry regulatory controls and reporting required
• Experience with data management tools and applications, including process mapping and lineage toolsets highly desired
• Prior experience with quality control processes and procedures, as well as data quality concepts and best practices, and ability to effectively enforce
• Proficiency in MS Microsoft Office products is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work that relates to time sensitive matters and managing workload properly
• Ability to effectively interact and ensure compliance with all levels of staff within organization
• Ability to identify and resolve situations utilizing sound judgement and decision making
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to understand and apply complex data governance concepts
