Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field; 2+ years of experience using basic statistical procedures, research methods, and evaluation techniques; 2+ years of analyzing/managing data via tools such as Excel; 2+ years of marketing analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess intermediate skills in research, including knowledge of marketing, customer behavior evaluation, statistical theory and application, Excel, and Access.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface effectively at all levels within an organization.

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Data Steward to join our growing team!

The IT Data Stewardship role is responsible for managing and maintaining the quality, security, and usability of an organization's data. They act as a bridge between marketing, reporting and the technical aspects of data management, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and reliable for informed decision-making. Data stewards also play a key role in implementing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures.

How You Will Contribute:

• Possess an in-depth understanding of the Synergy System Data and how it is used for reporting and marketing and by business.
• Monitor data for integrity, provide recommendations for improvement, identify inconsistencies, quality issues and trends.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the data and how to interpret it to the marketing and reporting teams.
• Understanding of the business context in which data is used and how it supports business operations.
• Help to troubleshoot reporting data issues or inconsistencies.
• Make recommendations to Marketing and Sales Leads on better ways to utilize data to maximize our sales campaigns based on client experience.
• Understanding marketing strategies and assist with the best way to use the data to accomplish goals.
• Provide accurate and appropriate interpretation of data, applying knowledge to evaluation, analysis, and interpretation of data.
• Maintain best business practice guidelines for adding data to Pearl systems considering differing source data, different types of business data, and the difference between insured and non-insured data.
• Defines processes, functionality, and data quality standards and establishes data sourcing and workflows to ensure standards are met.
• Research, analyze the data management teams' processes to move towards more standardized processes and less manual manipulation.
• Maintain an up-to-date system and process documentation. Review and update regularly as business and system requirements change.
• Monitor and attend marketing meetings and request the Data management team, making sure the requests are in line with the scope of what the team does.
• Escalate issues where the marketing team may be asking for brand new tasks to be completed, working with leaders to make sure the new tasks are in scope for the team, having a process, is not manually intensive, and does not introduce quality issues.
• Work with external vendors that may need to use and understand our data.
• Complete special projects and/or document processes in an effort to automate more data extractions.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; 2+ years of experience using basic statistical procedures, research methods, and evaluation techniques; 2+ years of analyzing / managing data via tools such as Excel; 2+ years of marketing analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess intermediate skills in research, including the knowledge of marketing, customer behavior evaluation, statistical theory and application, Excel, and Access.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface effectively at all levels within an organization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities using critical thinking that applies logic
• Detail orientated with the capability to deliver a high level of accuracy
• Ability to learn technical and functionality concepts quickly with a high level of retention
• Ability to communicate technical and functionality concepts verbally and in writing to assigned user base.

• Ability to handle frequent and random changes understanding when building custom software nothing is 100% predictable
• Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues and develop solutions.

Pay Range

$64,800 - $76,875 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
