Job summary

Peraton seeks a Data Steward to support Department of War Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO and AI Cyber Security Support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. You will ensure data quality, maintain data dictionaries, and support data stewardship activities across DCDC analytic platforms.

Responsibilities include validating data, maintaining metadata, and coordinating with data producers and consumers to resolve quality issues. U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associate with +10 years or HS +12 years of experience.
• Experience with data quality tools and methods
• Knowledge of data profiling and validation
• Able and willing to reach out to unfamiliar contacts without any prior relationship or warm introduction, typically over the phone, e.g. cold calling
• SQL and data analysis skills
• Understanding of metadata management
• Attention to detail
• Possible travel and weekend hours as mission requires
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
• Preferred: CDS or other data quality certification
• Familiarity with DSBOK
• 8 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related field

In this role, you will ensure data quality, maintain data dictionaries, and support data stewardship activities across DCDC analytic platforms. You will maintain the quality, usage, privacy, and security of data, following company policies and regulatory compliance requirements.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
