Job summary

NISA Investment Advisors, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer, Data Solutions to design, develop, and sustain ETL/ELT pipelines across the enterprise. You will work with stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on-call rotations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years in ETL/ELT, and strong SQL, Python or C#. Experience with AWS, Airflow, and Databricks/PySpark is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
• 5+ years of ETL/ELT experience
• 3+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with Python, C#, or similar high-level language
• Experience with AWS, AWS Lambda, S3, Airflow and related technologies
• Professional work experience with Databricks or PySpark
• Demonstrated teamwork in fast-paced environment and adaptability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, update and support ETL/ELT data pipelines for multiple stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Define, design, develop, unit test and support new and existing data solutions to meet business requirements.
• Support high-severity production incident resolution and perform code reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues independently.
