Job summary

NISA Investment Advisors, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer in the Data Solutions team to create, update, and support ETL/ELT data pipelines for a variety of stakeholders across the enterprise. The role involves defining and developing data solutions, testing, and supporting production incidents in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 5+ years of ETL/ELT experience, strong SQL and programming skills (Python/C#), and experience with AWS, Airflow, Databricks or PySpark.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of ETL/ELT experience.
• 3+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience with Python, C#, or similar high-level languages.
• Experience with AWS, Lambda, S3, Airflow.
• Professional work experience with Databricks or PySpark.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer support skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and support ETL/ELT data pipelines for multiple stakeholders.
• Define, design, develop, unit test and support new/existing data solutions to meet business needs.
• Support and manage high-severity production incident resolution and perform code reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot data integration issues.
