Global Payments is seeking a Data Solution Consultant to join our data engineering team in Cincinnati. You will translate insights into actionable items across internal and external stakeholders to improve authorization, authentication and routing approval rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience within Payments.
• 2+ years relevant experience with most of the requirements below.
• Broad knowledge of Worldpay products and related services; in-depth knowledge of products and services for which team(s) provide support.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization skills i.e. Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL and IT technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.
• Curiosity and excellent communication, problem-solving, time management and project management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Deep understanding of the payments industry and authorization pathways.
• Experience with Authorization investigation & resolution, strong analytical skills to understand investigation approaches of team & get involved in most complex matters.
• Some flexibility of hours is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate insights through data-driven storytelling and into actionable items across stakeholders to improve authorization, authentication and routing approval rates.
• Conduct high-level review of data requirements, data analysis and data visualization to support internal stakeholders with performance monitoring and generate insights across issuers & schemes.
• Drive improvements in authorization, authentication, and routing efficiency through data-led recommendations and deliver measurable uplifts.
• Support intake of new optimization opportunities, including requirement gathering and prioritization.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Technology, Data, Schemes, and Issuers to implement solutions.
