Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Product Owner for Data Services in a hybrid role based in Charlotte. You will maximize value by shaping the data product, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial data solutions.

You will define and groom the backlog, write user stories, and ensure features meet quality, governance, and security standards while aligning with the enterprise strategy. Strong SAFe expertise is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of Product Owner experience in SAFe environments.
• Experience with enterprise financial data and SAP modules is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into executable backlog items.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the data product backlog to maximize business value.
• Collaborate with product teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to align with strategy.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure readiness for iterations.
• Guide agile ceremonies and remove impediments for the team.
• Partner with the Product Manager on vision and roadmaps.
