Job summary

Kiewit Data Services offers a hands-on internship in the Omaha area (La Vista) that aligns with real-world data careers. You will develop, participate in, and learn key roles and functions within Data Services while working on meaningful projects.

This summer internship requires pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Data Science or Analytics, plus strong communication, initiative, and a commitment to safety and ethics.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (May–August).
• Highly motivated with a passion for excellence and taking initiative.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data departments to understand needs and the culture of the company.
• Investigating problems and/or reported incidents; identifying and recommending solutions/alternatives as appropriate
• Reviewing plans and specifications to determine material requirements (quantities and qualities), pricing of materials, etc.
