Job summary

Latitude AI in Pittsburgh is seeking a detail-oriented Labeling Operations Analyst to support the training data pipeline for our autonomous driving models. You will label sensor data, QA, and collaborate on tooling improvements to ensure high-quality labels for model training.

The role requires strong familiarity with Google Workspace or MS Office, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain focus while handling large data samples. This is a 12-month contract based in Pittsburgh.

Qualifications

Meet the team:

The Labeling Operations team is responsible for producing high quality labels to train our deep learning model. We label vehicles, pedestrians, and other objects, assess label quality and impact on performance, and continuously deliver data that allows for the continuous iteration and improvement of our product.

The more team members learn, the better they can review and analyze the data we collect. This helps ensure our output is the best possible input for everything from identifying a stop sign to detecting another car in the distance.

We are looking for a driven analyst to contribute to the development of our automated driving technologies. In this role, you will work with in-house tools to label sensor data coming directly from the Latitude fleet. The perfect candidate for this role is someone who is able to adapt in a fast-paced work environment, has a strong attention to detail, and has experience with computers and other software.

This contract will be 12 months in length.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or a similar suite of tools
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain prolonged focus and attention to detail while sampling large volumes of data
• The ability to report with clarity on bugs in tools, sample data, and labeling trends
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two years of employment experience required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Nice to have:

• A basic understanding of Jira or other workflow management tools
• A basic understanding of Confluence or other wiki platforms
• Previous experience working for a self-driving company
• Enthusiasm for the autonomous vehicle / self-driving space
