Job description

Responsibilities:

• Automate evidence collection and control testing processes using scripting tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Develop scripts and queries to analyze datasets, identify anomalies, and validate data integrity
• Build and maintain automation workflows for ITGC control reviews and audit documentation
• Parse structured and unstructured data sources to extract relevant compliance information
• Coordinate and track control review activities using workflow tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
• Support testing and documentation of controls related to:
• Logical access
• Change management
• Computer operations

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell, Power Automate for scripting, automation, and data parsing
• Strong experience with SQL for querying and validating data across systems
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar platforms for version control and CI/CD a plus
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting
• Strong automation mindset with a passion for improving manual processes
• Analytical and detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
• Clear communicator who can explain technical logic and compliance rationale
• Coachable, collaborative, and eager to learn new tools and frameworks

Technical Skills

• Strong technical scripting skills (SQL, Python, PowerShell)
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to reduce manual touchpoints through automation
• Strong analytical/process improvement mindset (engineer or analyst profile)
• Focused on capturing evidence, proving scripts work, and bringing high attention to detail
• No prior GRC experience required the priority is technical capability
• Exposure to Azure/Azure DevOps is a plus
• Familiarity with Saviynt and working across connected/disconnected systems
• Moving towards GitHub, so the current FTE will be focused on that migration — this role will support that lift
