Job summary

Sinclair Inc. is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join the Data Security and Governance, Risk, & Compliance program with a focus on scalable data security controls, insider risk management, AI adoption, and cyber-automation.

The role requires hands-on experience deploying data security and loss prevention controls in a complex enterprise environment, including data classification and AI risk assessment. This is a hybrid role with on-site work in Hunt Valley, MD several times per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or cybersecurity with 4+ years of information security experience.

Responsibilities

• Test, deploy, and integrate data security solutions including DLP, labels, policies, and alert strategies.
• Respond to DLP alerts and educate end-users on data security principles.
• Research and risk assess AI applications to determine data privacy impact.
• Support AI adoption including RBAC, agent governance, and third-party AI usage.
• Coordinate policy exceptions with stakeholders and update the risk registry.
• Develop information security policies, standards, and processes to enforce compliance.
• Deliver training content to personnel to ensure data handling aligns with policies.
• Provide timely updates to internal customers for their requests.
• Collaborate with peers to create and enhance weekly security metrics.
