Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Science Consulting professional to support the DHS data analytics initiative. The role emphasizes hands-on technical work across data querying, wrangling, engineering, visualization, and BI to drive mission-critical insights and data‑driven decisions.

You will contribute to dashboard development, analytics delivery, and business development efforts while collaborating with a high-performance team on security and national defense projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years in data analytics, data science, business analytics or data engineering.
• Experience communicating complex topics to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DHS Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions using Power BI.
• Lead and review data cleaning scripts using R.
• Maintain dashboards, analytics tools, and reporting for operational and strategic decisions.
• Apply structured critical thinking to break down client challenges and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure high-quality delivery by reviews and adherence to client standards.
• Manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
