Core Interface Corporation seeks a Data Scientist – TS/SCI with Polygraph to join our team on a full-time basis. You will work on mission-critical federal programs, translating complex data into actionable insights and building robust models in a collaborative, engineering-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a highly quantitative field such as CS, statistics, math, ML or OR.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, modeling, and pipelines.
• Experience building and evaluating ML, statistical, or NLP models.
• Working knowledge of SQL and handling large, complex datasets.

We’re growing our data science team and are looking for modelers and analysts across multiple experience levels who can move fluently between complex datasets and clear, actionable insight — and who thrive working closely with engineers and mission partners.

What You’ll Do in This Role

• Develop, evaluate, and deploy predictive and optimization models using Python, R, or equivalent tools
• Apply machine learning, NLP, and AI techniques to support entity resolution and extraction workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a highly quantitative field — Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or Operations Research
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, modeling, and pipeline development
• Experience building and evaluating machine learning, statistical, or NLP models
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with large, complex datasets
• Ability to distill ambiguous requirements into well-defined analytical problems
• Clear communication skills; comfortable presenting quantitative concepts to mixed audiences

Additional Strengths That Stand Out

• Experience with Big Data platforms and distributed processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems in a production environment
• Experience in financial or statistical modeling
• Prior work in an IC or DoD mission environment
