Job summary

GCI Incorporated is seeking a Data Scientist to support the evaluation of AI/ML capabilities, integration of COTS solutions, and cloud-based infrastructure. The role involves forensics of multimedia data and staying current with deepfake detection techniques. The candidate should have experience with AWS, Linux, and collaboration via MS Teams.

The position requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, aligning with our mission-focused environment in Chantilly, VA.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience providing system engineering support of integration, coordination, and documentation of new COTS capabilities into a customer's environment.
• Demonstrated experience providing data science support of evaluation of new AI/ML capabilities into a customer's environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting and developing systems leveraging cloud services and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience conducing forensics of multimedia (images, videos, and audio).
• Demonstrated experience with current deepfake creation and detection methods

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience using MS Teams.
• Demonstrated experience supporting lifecycle processes related to publicly available information collected to address a specific requirement.
• Demonstrated experience with existing Sponsor environment relating to the collection and processing of publicly available information.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux.
