Praescient Analytics is seeking a Data Scientist to support an Intelligence Community agency in the Washington DC metro area. You will process, analyze, and visualize large datasets to deliver actionable intelligence insights and executive dashboards that guide critical customer decisions.

Responsibilities include preprocessing data, applying statistical modeling, building Tableau dashboards, developing reproducible analytics using notebooks and GitHub, and supporting data cataloging across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional data analytics experience.
• 5+ years Python or R with relevant data libraries.
• 5+ years SQL querying with relational/NoSQL databases.
• 5+ years analyzing time-series data and creating Tableau dashboards.
• U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Preprocess and transform complex data into actionable insights and dashboards.
• Apply statistical modeling to identify trends and opportunities.
• Build dashboards using Tableau and data visualization libraries.
• Develop reproducible analytics artifacts using notebooks and GitHub.
• Support data governance across diverse domains.
• Conduct ad-hoc analytics to augment analytical tradecraft.
