Everforth ECS is seeking a Data Scientist to work onsite at our Chantilly, VA customer’s site. The role supports Big Data/Cloud solutions, including data management, storage and parsing for ML applications within an agile team focused on national security.

The candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a TS/SCI clearance, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Strong Python and Linux scripting skills are required, along withDoD-equivalent experience and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, math, CS, engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in data science, CS or computer engineering.
• Proficient in parsing data for ML applications.
• Proficient with Linux shell scripting.
• Experience using Python to extract and manipulate data.
• Transforming structured and unstructured data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with software engineers to extract, transform and standardize data from multiple sources.
• Support automation for data ingest and analytics workflows.
• Develop and integrate applications for analytic workflows.
• Design data services and pipelines as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
• Work with program management to implement evolving requirements.
• Handle multiple tasks and adapt to deadlines.
• Foster a culture of customer service, innovation and teamwork.
