Job summary

TENICA is seeking a Data Scientist with TS/SCI CI Poly in Chantilly, VA to support government projects with advanced data analytics, modeling, and reporting. You will build dashboards, analyze operational data, and collaborate across disciplines to drive mission success.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting data analysis, data science, performance analytics, or technical reporting activities within complex IT or enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting structured or unstructured data.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, data modeling, quantitative assessment, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience developing performance metrics, analytical reports, dashboards, or other data-driven decision-support products.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends and anomalies, and develop meaningful recommendations based on analytical findings.
• Experience working with data processing, analysis, reporting, or visualization tools.
• Understanding of data quality, data management, analytical methodologies, and automated reporting processes.
• Experience translating technical or operational requirements into measurable performance indicators and analytical solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams, program stakeholders, and government customers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical documentation, and communication skills.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide data science, analytical, and technical support for evaluation, modernization, and optimization of complex enterprise systems.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and visualize data to support government decision-making and mission objectives.
• Develop and maintain analytical methodologies, data models, metrics, and reporting capabilities.
• Analyze system performance, outages, discrepancies, and trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, enterprise architects, cybersecurity personnel, and stakeholders to identify analytical requirements.
• Evaluate system architectures and technical alternatives through quantitative analysis and data visualization.
• Develop and recommend KPIs and automated reporting solutions to improve program monitoring and awareness.
