The role leads statewide reporting and analytics efforts, guiding decision‑making, program performance, and outcome initiatives.
Lead a team that develops accessible, accurate insights using tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI, Python, R, and SQL; monitor financial and operational priorities; ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements and OOD’s data governance standards; transform complex information into clear recommendations to strengthen program effectiveness, resource allocation, and strategic planning; coordinate agency‑wide reporting; collaborate with internal leaders to identify analytic needs; interview stakeholders to inform reporting structures; manage enhancements to employer‑related databases (AWARE, Tableau, Salesforce); support modernization initiatives for data ingestion, transformation, and visualization; direct employer‑related reporting activities; create Lean Six Sigma performance summaries; lead the federally required Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment; prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including participation in statewide meetings.
72 months experience or training in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods AND 12 months experience in supervisory &/or management principles & techniques.

Step 3: $49.52/hour ($103,002.00 annually)
Step 4: $52.24/hour ($108,659.00 annually)
Step 5: $55.15/hour ($114,712.00 annually)
Step 6: $58.16/hour ($120,973.00 annually)
Step 7: $60.55/hour ($125,944.00 annually)
Step 8: $63.41/hour ($131,893.00 annually)
Primary location: 150 OOD Campus, Columbus, Ohio. Employees must reside within reasonable travel distance for daytime travel within Ohio. Work hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Some roles may have adjusted on‑site requirements based on space availability.
