Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand complex data and analytics business problems, gather requirements, and propose solutions to meet their needs.
  • Estimate work for formal proposals and present these to clients.
  • Provide expertise in statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence on projects involving large-scale data.
  • Assist in designing and implementing data lakes, data warehouses, and databases for analytical solutions.
  • Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis.
  • Develop, optimize, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning algorithms (e.g., GLM, Naïve Bayes, time series, random forests, neural networks, clustering, NLP, GAN, LLM).
  • Create effective data visualizations that generate actionable insights for business improvements.
  • Act as a mentor to clients, sharing best practices and educating them on their analytical solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience developing and deploying advanced statistical and machine learning models.
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL and at least one of the following: Python, Julia, R, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine learning, clustering, classification techniques, and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in developing and deploying models in Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with database and API integration.
  • Extensive data wrangling experience, including data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, validation, and enrichment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, Jira, and Github.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • B.S. or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Must reside in Illinois, Indiana, or be willing to relocate.
  • Willing to travel (under 5%) for client visits and company meetings.
