Job summary

Langan Engineering and Environmental Services seeks a skilled SAP SAC, HANA, and Datasphere Analyst to design, build, and optimize our enterprise data and reporting landscape. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Understanding of data mining techniques and applying them in business contexts.
• Design and develop analytical models, spaces, tables, views, and data structures within SAP Datasphere and SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques.
• Experience with SAP Cloud technologies.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple sources including field and online data.
• Translate business requirements into technical analytics solutions and maintain documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel/Access/Word/PowerPoint).
• Capacity to learn new technologies.
• OneStream knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Work independently and collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
• Proven organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis and manipulate/visualize business data.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to analyze business needs and interpret large data sets.
• Assess new data sources and define data collection and analysis processes.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms for SAP Datasphere/HANA.
• Create processes/tools to monitor model performance and data quality.
• Advise on visualization software and convert data into appropriate formats.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Remain current on technology practices through trainings and seminars.
• Understand in-house resources and external information sources.
• Participate in cross-discipline training and assist with broader projects.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and support other duties.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP SAC, HANA, and Datasphere Analyst to design, build, and optimize our enterprise data and reporting landscape. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business reporting. You will work hands-on with SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA modeling, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to deliver scalable data models, interactive dashboards, and actionable business insights.

Job Responsibilities

• Effectively research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis and perform manipulations and visualization of business data using data visualization tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with IT and other disciplines team to establish business needs; analyze and interpret large amounts of data, provide analysis and recommendations.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques; identify and define new data collection and analysis processes.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data
• Consult with project teams and advise on the selection of visualization software and convert any existing data into the appropriate format.
• Recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency and services
• Remain current on technology practices, guidelines, and best management practices as well as attend internal training and external seminars to expand knowledge and skills.
• Maintain an understanding of in-house resources and external sources of information and technology
• Participate in cross-discipline training and assist with projects outside one’s own discipline (data collection or reduction, design assistance, field assistance).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field;
• Demonstrated understanding of data mining techniques and ability to apply techniques in practical business environment;
• Design and develop analytical models, spaces, tables, views, and data structures within SAP Datasphere and SAP HANA;
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques;
• Experience with SAP Cloud technologies;
• Ability to analyze and interpret data from many sources, including field data and online data sources;
