/Data Scientist Principal# Data Scientist PrincipalSAICArlington, USFull-time## About the RoleDescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Utilization Specialist with robust data science acumen to support the Headquarters United States Air Force Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration, Nuclear Systems Integration Division (AF/A10XC). The ideal candidate will drive the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and workflow automation within divisional processes while aligning operational practices with Department of War (DoW) guidance and policies. This position requires critical thinking, technical expertise, and collaboration across various stakeholders. Work will be performed onsite in the Arlington, VA area (Pentagon).Duties and Responsibilities:- Analyze divisional workflows to identify areas for process improvement through automation, recommending and implementing AI-driven efficiencies.- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for AI tool deployment and utilization tailored to the needs of the AF/A10XC division.- Interpret and apply DoW guidance, including GenAI.mil policies, ensuring AI employment adheres to regulatory, ethical, and technical standards.- Act as a liaison between technical teams, leadership, and end-users to facilitate seamless adoption of AI tools and automated workflows.- Create detailed documentation and training materials to support sustainable AI usage.
