Fusion Technology LLC in Washington, DC seeks a security-cleared Data Scientist/BI Specialist to join a cross-functional IT data team. Focus areas include Power Platform, Power BI, machine learning, and data warehousing to deliver actionable insights for FBI leadership.

The role emphasizes end-to-end data analytics, automation, and AI/ML integration to enhance cybersecurity and financial reporting. TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 3-5 years of experience in data science and BI preferred.
• Proficiency with Power Platform, SharePoint, and InfoPath required.
• Understanding of ML techniques such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM required.
• Experience with data science tools like R, MATLAB, SPSS required.
• Experience with Power BI and Anaconda preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and automations within Power Platform, SharePoint, and InfoPath to automate processes.
• Connect APIs, ETL, and system-to-system data transfers for BI workloads.
• Build predictive risk models using statistical methods.
• Apply AI/ML to extract insights from unstructured data and automate processes.
• Develop data collection, normalization, and visualization workflows.
• Create insightful BI analyses for FBI leadership and IT stakeholders.
• Improve methodologies and tools to assess cybersecurity, financial, and strategic risk.
• Research data storage/integration solutions for FBI IT environment.
• Develop user guides for BI products.
• Incorporate SQL, Python, R scripting into services for BI offerings.
