Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

Introduction:

Our client seeks a Data Scientist to develop, run, and analyze complex queries against large-scale data stores.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Manipulate high-volume structured and unstructured data to perform analysis and generate reports/products.
  2. Utilize analytic techniques and tools, including All-Source data analysis, to provide technical targeting support to the Sponsor Agency.
  3. Perform large-scale parallel data processing and develop, validate, and apply methodologies supporting analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, including 2+ years in Intelligence Analysis within the intelligence community.
  2. Experience with analytic techniques and tools for technical targeting support.
  3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Pig, Java, C, SQL, ECL for large-scale data processing.
  4. Ability to think creatively and seek guidance or mentorship from peers.

Optional Desired Skills & Experience:

  1. Educational or practical experience in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
