The Role :

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Data Scientist to join our dynamic Growth Engine team. This role will focus on understanding and optimizing marketing channel efficiency. You will develop and maintain frameworks to track and measure marketing effectiveness, ensuring a holistic view of our user base. This role involves leveraging various analytics tools and techniques to provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing complex data sets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth initiatives. Your work will directly influence our marketing strategies, campaign optimization, and customer acquisition efforts.

The ideal candidate has experience with marketing analytics in a fast-paced environment and can thrive in a proactive and results-driven team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Marketing Attribution : Develop and maintain frameworks to attribute marketing efforts and track customer journeys across various channels.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze marketing data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Tracking & Reporting : Manage tracking systems and generate comprehensive reports on marketing performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align analytics efforts with business goals.
  • Performance Optimization : Provide recommendations for marketing timing and optimization based on data analysis.
  • Campaign Reporting : Deliver detailed reporting on campaign effectiveness, channel performance, and key metrics.
  • Industry Trends : Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging analytics techniques.
  • Marketing Analytics : Strong knowledge of marketing attribution, tracking, and data analysis.
  • Data Management : Experience managing data sets and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Programming & Tools : Proficient in Python / R and SQL for data analysis, predictive modeling, and optimization workflows.
  • Business Intelligence : Experience working with business intelligence data visualization software, such as Tableau or Sigma.

  • Collaboration : Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in marketing, supply, finance, and fan happiness to achieve business goals.
  • Communication : Clear and effective communication skills for presenting findings.

  • Proactive : Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing solutions and embodies a proactive and "Always be Curious" mindset.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Education :
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience :
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics or a similar role. Broad understanding of various marketing channels and their impact.

Tools :

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python / R for data analysis and processing and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma).
  • Strong understanding of UTM parameters, marketing tags, and SKAdNetwork (SKAN) for mobile measurement.
  • Preferred Qualification
  • Prior experience in a mobile-first company with a deep understanding of SKAdNetwork (SKAN 4) and other privacy-compliant mobile measurement solutions.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, with experience in A / B testing, performance metrics, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience in ticketing is a strong plus.

At Gametime pay ranges are subject to change and assigned to a job based on specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills / capabilities, experience, and available budget.
