Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Data Scientist Manager to lead data-driven initiatives and a team supporting CMS Medicare quality measures and reporting programs. You will drive analytics, collaboration, and data-driven decision making across multiple data sources using Python, PySpark, and Databricks.

This role requires a BS degree and at least 5 years of CMS Medicare quality measures experience, with strong expertise in Python, Spark, Databricks, and modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of CMS Medicare hospital quality measures experience.
• Proficiency with Python, Apache Spark, and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Background in analytic programming, data extraction, querying databases/data warehouses, and data analysis.
• SAS, R, and AWS experience preferred.

Salary and Benefits Information

The likely salary range is USD 129,813 to 155,250 per year. Final compensation depends on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
