Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Scientist for the MOI team to drive data-driven transformation across AWS. You will own end-to-end data science projects, from exploration to model deployment, using Spark, Airflow, and state-of-the-art ML tools.

You will work with large datasets, develop customized metrics, and partner with software teams to productionalize models in a fast-paced cloud environment. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of data querying languages (SQL) or scripting languages (Python) experience.
• 3+ years of ML/statistical modeling experience.
• 1+ years of guiding and coaching a group of researchers.
• 1+ years of working with or evaluating AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems.
• Develop ML/AI models and partner with software teams to productionalize them.
• Design and implement data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Define and develop advanced metrics and KPIs for strategic objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of metrics.
