The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a data scientist to develop machine learning, data mining, statistical and graph-based algorithms to analyze datasets. You will prototype or consider several algorithms and decide upon final models based on performance metrics. You will build models or develop experiments to generate data when datasets are unavailable. You will generate reports and visualizations to provide data-driven insights. You will partner with subject matter experts to automate manual data analysis and implement prototype algorithms within production frameworks for analyst workflows.

You will be part of efforts providing lifecycle services including systems engineering, software development, testing, and training in areas like Analytics, Knowledge Management, and Malware Analysis. Join a department focusing on Cyber Mission Operations, contributing to national security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Produce data visualizations to reveal dataset insights
• Collaborate with SMEs to extract key information from various data formats
• Incorporate SME input into feature vectors for analytics
• Translate qualitative analysis goals into software prototypes
• Develop and implement statistical and machine learning techniques for analytics
• Develop statistical tests for data-driven recommendations

Qualifications

Required:

• Active TS/SCI clearance; Bachelor's in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• One year experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics; programming experience with R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB

Desired:

• Experience in software development, cloud computing, or analytics development preferred

The Proposed Salary Range for This Position is $72,700 - $149,200
