Job summary

Paragon Alpha - Hedge Fund Talent Business is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Enterprise Data Technology team in New York, Chicago, or Boston. This role sits at the intersection of data science, engineering and product ownership, giving you direct exposure to how investment teams use data in research workflows.

You will take ownership of datasets end-to-end, evaluate new data vendors and analyze complex datasets through to building automated quality checks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and delivering data products for business users.
• Strong coding skills in Python or similar.
• Experience with data quality and data governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Own datasets end-to-end from ingestion to delivery to stakeholders.
• Evaluate new data vendors and integrate datasets into the platform.
• Collaborate with investment teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
