The MIL Corporation seeks a Data Scientist, Intermediate, to support a Federal Government client in Patuxent River, MD. The role is on-site with a 5-day schedule and a compressed work schedule option.

The project is unfunded and contingent on funding approvals. Responsibilities include data modeling, analysis, dashboard development, and communicating complex findings to senior leadership; candidates should have 3+ years of relevant experience and relevant clearances.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience performing similar responsibilities.
• Two years supporting NAVAIR, NAWCAD.

Responsibilities

• Apply professional knowledge of computer science and statistics to gather, analyze, design and construct new processes for modeling, interpreting and reporting quantitative information.
• Participate in Mission Thread Analysis to trace system functionality to operational mission objectives, supporting vulnerability identification and resilience strategy validation.
• Identify methods, processes, algorithms, tools, and systems to extract and interpret findings from varied data sets throughout the data science lifecycle.
• Develop algorithms and tools to support data manipulation and processing and use data visualization to articulate findings.
• Execute comprehensive data management to drive actionable mission intelligence, including data extraction, cleaning, normalization, and statistical analysis; build dashboards and predictive models; translate findings for senior leadership.
