Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Montgomery County team. You will conduct statistical analyses, design experiments, and build predictive models to support data-driven decisions across clinical and operational domains.

Responsibilities include data extraction, cleaning, modeling, visualization for stakeholders, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actions that improve patient care and efficiency. Master’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3 years in data science or related work experience.
• Knowledge of Python, R, SQL or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction, cleaning and harmonization.
• Complete data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Develop predictive models and design experiments to support data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems solvable with data science.
• Provide model interpretation and visualization of results.
• Build insights from customer, transaction, and campaign data to inform decisions.
