As a Data Scientist II, you will analyze complex data and create predictive models to solve business problems. You will collaborate with teams to advise on strategies that boost business growth.

About our Team

The Product Research and Development Data Science team develops and supports best-in-class analytic solutions through our expertise and superior cross-functional collaboration. We are dedicated to creating responsible solutions to increase financial transparency and inclusion in the market.

Ideal candidate is in the Minneapolis or Boston area - can be hybrid or remote.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting statistical analysis and modeling to identify patterns and trends in large data sets.

  • Developing and deploying machine learning algorithms to improve predictive accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

  • Creating data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation using data analysis.

  • Conducting A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different business strategies.

  • Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on best practices in data science.

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning.

Requirements

  • Preferred Masters Degree - quantitative skills shown through completion of academic studies in math, statistics, or CS.

  • Be able to program in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

  • Be skilled in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization using Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Tableau.

  • Be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Have experience working with large and complex data sets.

  • Be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Display exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Be able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Minnesota:$70,200.00 - $117,100.00
