Cencora is seeking a Data Scientist II to own analytics initiatives end-to-end, translating business questions into actionable plans and delivering trusted results. You’ll build data products, maintain pipelines, and communicate insights that influence decisions across healthcare, supply chain, and operations.

This role emphasizes independence, rigorous experimentation, and production-ready code, with hybrid on-site work at Conshohocken HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, CS, engineering, economics or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Solid understanding of statistics, ML, and experimentation.
• Experience with data pipeline tools and model deployment/monitoring.
• Experience with pandas, PySpark or similar data processing libraries.
• Ability to deliver analytics with growing independence and clear framing.
• Proficiency with Git and writing clean, reusable code.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, logistics, or supply chain is highly desired.
• Familiarity with Databricks and Azure is highly desired.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end delivery of moderately complex analyses, models, and data products.
• Translate business questions into analytical plans and define success metrics.
• Profile and prepare structured and semi-structured datasets from multiple sources.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to support analytics and modeling.
• Design, validate, and iterate on statistical, forecasting, and ML solutions.
• Conduct hypothesis-driven analysis, experimentation, and evaluation.
• Deploy models into production and monitor performance and data drift.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to influence priorities through insights.
• Communicate recommendations and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Write production-quality, reusable code and uphold governance standards.
