Job summary

Cencora is seeking a data analytics intern to support the Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform modernization. You will analyze large datasets, build dashboards with Tableau/Power BI, and help drive CI/CD-enabled, self-service analytics for internal and customer-facing tools.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, data-driven decision making, and documentation to support scalable analytics initiatives in a growing health-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate program pursuing a bachelor's in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel and Salesforce.com or similar CRM is preferred.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL for querying databases is advantageous.
• Interest in dashboard and product design, including UX considerations, is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Prior internship or coursework in analytics is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
• Dashboard & Product Development: Design dashboards for internal and customer-facing builds using BI tools; contribute to product redesigns.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and report performance with improvement opportunities.
• Data-driven Decision Making: Collaborate with teams to meet analytical needs and drive improvements.
• Platform Modernization Support: Contribute to scalable, self-service delivery and CI/CD practices.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct analyses to answer business questions via data mining or modeling.
• Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference.
