Job summary

GitLab is hiring a Data Scientist for Enterprise Analytics to partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Finance. You will apply statistics, experiments, and ML to forecast outcomes, explain drivers, and size opportunities.

You’ll support company-level reporting on consumption, ARR, and first orders. You’ll embed with business teams, perform exploratory analyses, and productionize models and dashboards with robust MLOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with large, complex datasets across SaaS or B2B contexts.
• Expertise in causal inference, statistics, and ML lifecycle.
• Strong communication to translate analyses for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed with GTM and Finance to guide insight generation and decisions.
• Build and own data models in Python/SQL for propensity, churn, expansion, retention.
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B, quasi-experiments) to inform investments.
• Productionize models, dashboards, and analyses with MLOps practices using dbt and Airflow.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to ensure reliable data.
