Fractal Analytics Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (Census Automation) in New York to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of production-grade AI solutions.

You will design agentic AI systems with multi-step reasoning, integrate tools, and ensure observability and monitoring across systems. The role requires hands-on work with LLMs, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and strong Python and AWS expertise, plus CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or primary developer delivering production solutions.
• Strong expertise in Agentic AI systems and orchestration frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in Python development.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $110,000 - $140,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period. **Benefits:**As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.
