Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned data science professional to support Army DCS, G-6 across NC4SI missions. You will build APIs, deploy automated data pipelines, and create Palantir-based applications to deliver actionable insights for senior leaders.

The role demands expertise in ML, statistical modeling, and data visualization, with a track record of working on government or military projects and security clearances. Strong communication and policy understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Engineering, etc.).
• 5–7 years of data science experience, preferably with military or government projects.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Palantir Ontology, and Palantir Data Marketplace.
• Experience building and integrating APIs into Army Vantage and DOD platforms.
• Strong understanding of API orchestration and policy in DOD/Army.
• Experience deploying APIs and data pipelines across Army and vendor platforms.
• Familiarity with Palantir Foundry applications (Workshop, Pipeline Builder, Automate).
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable senior-leadership insights.

Responsibilities

• Support the Army DCS, G-6, NC3S Integration Directorate.
• Support the G-6 Network Plans & Enterprise Information Environment Management.
• Provide data science, analytical, operational, policy, technical, and management services.
• Build and integrate APIs into Army Vantage and other platforms.
• Deploy APIs and data pipelines across Army and vendor platforms.
• Develop Army Vantage environment applications using Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP tools.
• Create dynamic visualizations for executive-level consumption.
• Analyze datasets and apply statistical modeling and ML techniques.
• Provide actionable insights for senior leadership decision-making.
